I find it Interesting:
President Trump a man I do not give much credit to nor are do I believe he deserves much, and I of the same opinion of Congressman Moore, at least in theory. Have the people of this country forgotten where they live? Have we as a people shrugged off the idea of fairness and right and wrong? Atlas has indeed shrugged and left us as a people bare.
What I am trying to say is this; although the accusations Congressman Moore has drawn toward himself are reprehensable the fact of the matter is he has not been proven guilty of anything. In fact in his case he will be tried first by the people he serves, if they do not believe him or believe in him they will make another choice as their conscious dictates and he will be unemployed. Second with all the accusations flying he will be investigated, probably Federally and charged if evidence is found, tried in a court by his peers and a conclusion will be drawn and added to the public record and depending on that verdict a punishment will be doled out. That is how our system of government and law is required to work. What we each believe to be true is not necessarily the truth it is our perception.
Perception is only the truth about 50% of the time. A colorblind person does not perceive colors in the same way the rest of the world does and nor does each and every mind, we are all different and so are our perceptions and beliefs which is why it takes 12 people on a jury to make a verdict.
From what I can tell Moore is an ugly human being, one I would not vote to keep in office (oh and I am a Republican) and would be behind any investigation about him but until that investigation is done and he is found guilty of a crime he is allowed to pursue his chosen profession like anyone of us. Each American would want the same respect if they found themselves in similar circumstances.
My ultimate point here is this; everyone who has read anything about these matters has an opinion including the President, whether we agree or disagree with someone else’s opinions is of no importance, what is, is the fact we have a God given right to voice those opinions. As an American I am watching what I believe to be the decline of a country that is sorely needed in this world. One based on freedom of choice. AS we citizens stand and fight one another on any idea without proof but loaded with supposition and hate, non facts to prove every angle we as a nation will remain stagnate and eventually we will fade to history as so many nations before, the only real difference is our freedoms as a people will fade with the nation. Maybe it is time for us all to listen more and be much more thoughtful when we speak. Maybe we should trust each other more and politicians less. When that happens we just may be able to save the very soul of a great country
