People it does not really matter what happened to Michael Brown or how the court reacted to the incident any more, I do not say this out of malice but logic. In a safe and secure environment this nation may still debating what happened but instead in this circumstance the issue has grown larger and more complicated, the city this happened in is by all measures gone today. The officer resigned, guilty or not everyone’s life in Ferguson was ruined over an incident by all recollections was caused by a violent child who did not have the common sense to give up when caught.
I tend to believe the narrative the grand jury believed not because of the evidence which was plentiful and should have been enough but because of the reaction of other citizens in this area over a perceived slight, by the reaction of Michael Browns parents who accept no responsibility for how they raised their child and the reaction of the media who clearly enjoyed watching this town burn as their ratings went up. People can tell me that Michael Brown did not attack that police officer but I ask you when the whole city around this boy acts in such a manner what are the chances this boy was the only sane individual there.
In the end the issue will not be, was Michael Brown innocent or guilty but how this town will recover from such bad behavior and who will pay for the damage. Insurance companies certainly, but they will raise their rates and most small businesses their will close shop. The tax payers certainly but as taxes raise many will leave the area, leaving a void and a deficit. The federal government which simply means we will spread the damage out to all the people of this nation instead of those who caused it, which will cause further debates. I would like to show you Detroit that suffered the same kind of action in 1967 and for the most part never recovered. So I guess in 50 – 60 years we can expect another of our cities to be desolate, bankrupt and a melting pot of crime and a prime example of what not to do.
Thank you race baiters, I hope that you received the accolades you believe are due you. Thank you Mr. President, look at the streets of Ferguson, this is your legacy, hate and destruction. Thank you to the outsiders that decided it was a good thing to burn a city down; you have just pushed this nation a step closer to the grave. Al Sharpton you are right the fight is not over but maybe we should fight against your unbelievably ignorant ideas and remember what Martin Luther King jr. dreamt was about, peace and tolerance.
