Each day we see more and more of our world disintegrate under the pressure of political correctness, I have to say that when I was growing up it was drilled into me that the truth was that in which I should seek, not the happy fun no problem world we continue to try to make with our language and in making this observation and playing into the hands of those that believe in political correctness there is no more real discussion on real issues and nothing really getting down. We watch as our culture and our morals are destroyed under a paradigm that never really existed anywhere but in the minds of those who never really lived in the real world.
I once heard Harriet Tubman once said that she could have freed more slaves if she could convince them they were slaves, well today that idea is more prevalent than ever, we are slaves to a world view that does not exist and now we are afraid to speak the truth. We have become the zombies of the new age where everyone is the same and we get along so nicely because no one is allowed their own views or opinions.
I for one was not born into this, I was born in a country that believed in free speech and freedom of ideas and I am not sure where that country went but I will spend my life searching for it. What was good about America, well we (by which I mean all citizens) were able to seek out our lives in whatever made them happy, not by what was told to you to make you happy. My happiness is dependent on my own actions and abilities, no one else’s, there was a time we felt shame if we could not provide for our own families but today we expect the world to provide for us in a lazy attempt at being slovenly. I say deregulate and allow Americans to provide for themselves again, I say kill the Political Correctness and allow Americans to think and to talk again and I say stop teaching children ideology but simply teach them the skills they need, math, reading, basic science and history, oh and when I say history I mean the truth as it happened not the truth as we wanted it to happen.
I say allow Americans to pull themselves up by their boot straps and become independent again by giving us back the basic functions of life, such as making decisions for ourselves. Until recently we (Americans) were never sheep, we protected those that were but we never acted in fear, now we are afraid, afraid of our own freedom and we are cowering in the corner waiting for someone else to tell us what to say and do, I say not me, not today. I am not a sheep and I am not afraid, the time is now for us Americans to stand up and say enough.
