1st a 14 year old boy figured out how to save the government $400,000,000.00/year simply by changing the font they use on printed material. Way to go sir. Now if only there was someone with the same brain power making those decisions that can act on this.
2nd The pope asks a regular priest to take his confession in public and the worlds heart skips a beat. I just gained more respect for the office and for the religion with a simple act. Sir you seem to be miraculous yourself. Also telling off the President of the USA for his anti religious stances wasn’t a bad trick either.
3rd Bill Maher reads a quote he says is from Rand Paul to comedian W. Kamau Bell and after giving a scathing reply tells him it was really from the first lady, Mr. Bell then has to come up with a reason to like or at least dismiss the comment in which he replies “she was talking to black people — we talk to each other differently than we talk in front of you.” Well maybe that practice should stop and then you could take the foot out of your mouth.
4th Ebony magazine calls out a politician by saying “here comes a white dude telling me how to do a black thing.” Well first of all it was a “Black dude” and second he was right isn’t diversity better then singling out a specific race? As long as people identify themselves as a specific thing there will be people who will speak against the identification so aren’t your perpetuating racism by identifying and quarantining your race?
Interestingly enough two of the above incidents had to do with racist comments from Black men who then had to withdraw and apologies for their error. I could say what Mr. Maher did was unfair but I also know that the reply he received was unfair also and the comment he made later was perfect and I rarely agree with Mr. Maher but he is right here this is a people issue and the idea that something can be more right if a white or black person is saying it needs to be addressed.
The Pope asks a common priest to take his confession and the world paused for just a second. Really what did you think he would confess? He was showing the world that the priest under him have the same power if not more than he does. I say good for him and thank you for being such a humble man.
Now last but not least a young man finds a way to save the government $400 million a year, lets make this guy President. We should build statues to him and yet I read only one article about this on the Blaze news network. What is wrong with news agencies when they cannot report a simple accomplishment by a young man that our own government could not figure out?
Folks we need to address how we receive our news? Why we are looking at the news? Who do we trust giving us information? And then we need to act on that information by going to those places we trust most and eliminating those we do not.
