The government finally does something right in dealing with this issue and the very people who should know better are the ones complaining about the 21 day vacation, may I suggest you get a magazine, lay down on your cot and wait your time out, oh I forgot this quarantine is in your own home. What madness is the government thinking here, allowing you to be in your own home watching TV or reading your own books or whatever, someone stop them before this poor woman dies of boredom.
The facts are these folks, this nurse went to an Ebola stricken African nation and then returned to a quarantine, one that will last the 21 day gestation period of the disease to ensure she is not carrying the disease and infecting thousands of others in her daily life and now she is complaining about the inconvenience by getting a lawyer and suing the government for violating her civil liberties. I have a question if you are carrying the disease do your victims get to sue you? Are your civil liberties more important than someone else’s right to live?
This woman has just brought an inconvenient truth to light about the healthcare industry, to them it is about money and not helping others. If this was my nurse I would be going to a different facility where the staff shows a bit more compassion. I wonder if Al Gore will make a movie about this, probably not it involves the truth, just saying.
