2. the entrance or advent of anything troublesome or harmful, as disease.
3.entrance as if to take possession or overrun: the annual invasion of the resort by tourists.
4.infringement by intrusion.
This is a very curious word with several meanings; the four actual meanings are listed from dictionary.com and offer some insight to the USA’s current geo political situation, primarily the US Mexican border. Within the confines of this idea I ask everyone to read definition #4.
By definition Mexico and other Central American countries are invading the USA, which is also by definition an act of war. This means all current treaties should be dropped and the USA should defend that border vigorously. Some have argued that Mexico should be taken and divided up into territories and then states so several problems will be solved,
1. Our southern border becomes smaller and is already defended.
2. Our laws apply to the current drug cartels and we can enforce those laws properly
3. The Mexican people would be offered the government as a whole they keep moving to stopping illegal immigration and allowing those people to stay in their homes
4. Adding their economy to ours can only strengthen the USA.
I am not sure myself if any of these reason are good enough to end the misery Mexico is bringing to the USA but I am sure that our southern border needs to be defended. I am also sure that our current President is behind this invasion and should be held accountable for crimes against the United States.
This invasion is really no different than any other, in the end it will result in a financial crisis and create a population of refugees that become a burden on the economy. This attack must be defended not hailed a humanitarian crisis and allowed to continue.
Today President Obama is hailing the refugees as champions of change, I hail the President an enemy of the people of the United States. Whatever the solution to this is, our law makers better get to solving it or the chaos at the southern border may prove to be the last straw that this country can take.
