Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney are both educated and intelligent men but they are also both very progressive in nature and are really just Conservative Democrats, I am not a democrat so I really do not want them to represent me in this next election. Now Marco Rubio seems like a good choice, after all Hispanic and for the most part conservative but he did cave in on immigration with the gang of eight, which tells me he will cave in on big issues once he is President. Rand Paul seems like he is a good choice but some of the same problems seem to exist with him as do with Marco Rubio so I am not as certain about where Mr. Paul falls on some basic issues. If you cannot tell I am not a compromise kind of guy, I prefer those who choose a side, preferably the right one, and stick to it.
Now there is Rick Perry, who I like as a candidate very much but he just chose the McCain camp to help him with the election. That is a lot like Jefferson calling up Karl Marx and asking for advice on building a republic.
Now if Ted Cruz or Trey Gowdy runs I am right there, I like both men and their conviction. They are both very conservative and their actions are in line with the constitution, which is sorely needed these days. Both act with Dignity and both act like adults, which is refreshing after Obama’s Glowzell interview and Biden’s comment on liking soft balls in the cold.
What I know for sure is that the next President better have a plan to reduce government and regulation and bring jobs back to this nation as well as the idea of freedom. We are supposed to be a country built on the principle of freedom but lately most people do not know what that really means. Tolerance is a two way street and Liberal Democrats are going the wrong way on this issue. One is not tolerant if one does not understand the other side has a right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I might also remind the citizens of this nation that the President should have a working idea on whom he represents, which is to say, they do not represent illegal aliens but the current citizens of this nation.
I hope as a party the GOP figures out the people want the rebirth of common sense and listen to us as citizens instead of the lame knuckleheads who keep giving us the same candidates who do nothing.
