Well young people gather around I have some bad news for you. Ethnic diversity you say, you want to be part of the party that’s fair you say. Well hold on to your big boy pants my friends there was 0% vote by democrats to free the slaves through the 13th Amendment with 100% republicans voting for the amendment in 1865. That is the beginning of a march by republicans to gain equality for all people, but it was equality they were looking for not another slave master who enslaved another race. It was equality the Martin Luther King Jr. was after not to be the new boss. It was equality that Malcolm X was after not to be a new boss. Today the Democrats throw affirmative action around as if it is flag bearing the fruit of equality, it is not, it is another form of inequality trying to make the first form of inequality right, something it will never achieve as long as someone, anyone is made to be less than anybody else.
“White folks was in the caves while we [blacks] was building empires … We built pyramids before Donald Trump ever knew what architecture was … we taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it." -- Al Sharpton
"A few years ago, (Barack Obama) would have been getting us coffee." -- Bill Clinton to Ted Kennedy
“Civil rights laws were not passed to protect the rights of white men and do not apply to them.” -- Mary Frances Berry, former Chairwoman, US Commission on Civil Rights
"Them Jews aren’t going to let (Obama) talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office. …They will not let him talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is.” -- Jeremiah Wright
"The white man is our mortal enemy, and we cannot accept him. I will fight to see that vicious beast go down into the lake of fire prepared for him from the beginning, that he never rise again to give any innocent black man, woman or child the hell that he has delighted in pouring on us for 400 years.” -- Louis Farrakhan
“You cannot go to a 7-11 or Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian Accent.” -- Joe Biden
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” -- Joe Biden
"We got to do something about these Asians coming in and opening up businesses and dirty shops. They ought to go." -- Marion Barry
“The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn’t. But she is a typical white person…” -- Barack Obama
Well my diverse seeking friends does any of those comments seem racial in nature to you, many said by the people holding power in the Democratic Party. Harry Reid has brought out the race card “[Harry Reid] was wowed by Obama’s oratorical gifts and believed the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as a Obama — a ‘light-skinned’ African American with ‘no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.’” – Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader, as quoted in the book Game Change.
What does it take for people to understand it is not the Republicans who are racist it is the Democrats who thrive on this type of hate. Republicans want an even playing field in all matters of life while the Democrats want the government to give you everything, including your opinion. If the young people today think they are fighting for equal rights by lining up with the Democrats they are sorely mistaken, if it is freedom they seek both racial and political it should be the Republican Party they choose. If evil discourse and diatribe is what you are after be my guest choose the Progressives and Democrats.
