Obamacare was passed under the idea that there was no alternative and something had to be done, than we find out several alternatives were sitting on Harry Reid’s desk but he would not allow votes on them and did not want anyone to read Obamacare before it was passed. I would also like to interject here something might need to be done but that something needs to be the right something, in other words to act on a problem with a solution that is worse than the problem just creates more problems and Obamacare is that kind of action. Healthcare costs are rising and now those that could afford it cannot, good job Pelosi and Boehner.
In today’s world we do not need someone who just acts without looking at the possible consequences to the American people, we do not need leadership who seems to hate the religious people he is supposed to defend nor do we need leadership who seems to constantly want to change our communities into burning wreckage. What we do need is jobs, Healthy ways to solve our problems and freedom and in this case it is freedom from government. We need government out of our businesses, out of our churches and out of our homes. This means less regulation, less government and less spending.
Historically as our government has grown we have added one problem after another to the lives of the American people. The result has been both parents working and our children without parents all in an effort to keep up with our growing economy and the leviathan we have created in our government. The joke is on us though because our children did better in school when the states were in charge and there was no department of education, our families were happier when the government spent less to help them and we helped each other. Our communities were better off, safer and cleaner when we relied on each other and not the government to take care of them. As the last hundred years has transpired we as a nation have built our own destruction in a nanny state that involves themselves in every area of our lives without the knowledge or money it needs to do so properly and now bankruptcy and citizens with no sense of community or drive to be better is the result.
Our once great people have been reduced to a nation of children waiting for the next hand out, our children walk around with their pants around their ankles and they think that is cool but that was a sign of submission in prisons, is that what we have given our children, violence, and submission to an unseen government or leader. We used to educate our children with both discipline and knowledge now our schools have become little more than day care centers where the children have the upper hand. We have failed ourselves in this creation of ours and more importantly to me we have failed our children.
We have made a joke of the pre sixties lifestyle but this nation was much happier and better off as a people then and if you eliminate the racism that society is almost blissful, so why didn’t we build that instead? Isn’t it time to change the road we are on and get back to making this nation a better place to live for all the citizens? Isn’t it time we get back to basics and reduce our government, make a flat tax, reduce our welfare system, give schools back to the local communities and help one another? Isn’t it time we forget about the color of each other’s skin and worry about who wants to harm us as a nation? Isn’t it time we understand and protect everybody’s right to worship who they will within the law. Isn’t it time we recognize the constitution and understand that those protections make us stronger as individuals? Isn’t it time we understand the error of our ways, socialism does not work, it never has. Communism does not work, it never has and capitalism with a fair and free market is the best way out of poverty for almost everyone on the planet, it always has been. The best government is that that governs least and it always has been, isn’t it time?
