A President is a position of limited power, power that is given to them by the people who elect them with the idea that the President will act in a way beneficial to the citizenry. A king is a person whose power originates with God and has no boundaries on how that power may be used to include subjection of his own people; after all they are answerable to God not the people.
Now the subtle difference here is where the power originates; The President gets power from the people, who have rights given to them by God and a King gets power from God and the people get rights from the King.
Now I ask you if a President gets their power from the people how does one act against the wishes of the people. After all president Obama just did so through executive order with immigration, Immigration is something the people and the President disagree whole heartedly, shown through almost every poll and yet the President did not act for the people in this case he acted against the people. He also completely disregarded the constitution and his place in the government by legislating without Congress. This suggests that the President does not think of his office as a President but more as a King, where he would have unilateral power. Interestingly enough this is not true and he derives his power from the people which means the people can take it away from him and in this case should.
Every business owner from small to huge knows this immigration plan is bad for the country; it will create a stressed workforce that already does not have enough jobs for the current citizens. The President is acting as if these illegal aliens are citizens already and he must act for them but in reality they are not and he is acting against the current citizens to create another voting block for his party.
Ultimately this means the President is a traitor to his own citizens, whether they be white, black, yellow or red. He is supposed to act on the current citizens behalf but chose to ignore them and do what he felt was right. Unfortunately he does not get to change the rulebook to suit his needs and desires; the constitution is explicit on where his power is derived from and what his duties are. Executive privilege is not mentioned in the constitution but on whose behalf the President is supposed to act and where that power is derived is and nowhere in the constitution does it say that the President is supposed to act on the behalf of illegal aliens or citizens of any other country other than the United States of America.
Also any argument that states well this other President did this and so the current President can to is an argument for third graders and should be dismissed, just because someone else has circumvented the law and was not caught does not make the law any less legal for the current person breaking it. That is a lot like saying well since bobby cheated on a test and was not caught everyone after him has a right to cheat. We all know this is not true.
This country will probably survive this lawless President but I ask you, if you broke the law wouldn’t the government hold you accountable if it could, so why are we the citizens of this once great nation holding our politicians accountable for breaking the law anymore? The President has proven his disregard for the constitution and the people who elected him, so what will we do about it?
