Where to begin today; well let’s start at the crossroads of hypocrisy and stupidity.
Yesterday a State Senator from Rhode Island told a blogger who had asked him if he understood that the 2nd amendment meant the citizens right to bear arms could not be taken away, to go fuck himself, Interesting choice of words for a man sworn to protect the constitution. This is a State Senator showing both stupidity and hypocrisy.
Also yesterday a Californian State Senator Yee was arrested on corruption charges for brokering a deal to traffic in firearms, which is interesting not only for the illegal nature of the deal but that Senator Yee was one of the authors of the Californian gun control laws. We find ourselves at Hypocrisy and Stupidity again.
First I want to note that this man is a democrat and a progressive, meaning he feels all the power should be his and probably doesn’t understand the problem with trafficking firearms as long as he is the one doing it. Second I want to note that this man is attempting to take firearms from good citizens and then sell firearms to criminals. This act seems to say that those for gun control understand exactly what they are doing and do not care if good citizens are safe in their homes or on their own property as long as they (the politicians) are wealthy.
I stand in awe of a group of people who I shall forever now call hypocrites (Democrats) who yell at the top of their lungs about human indecency and then act as if they do not know there is a constitution in which there are reiterated civil liberties all of which empower the individual. Folks I beg you to empower yourselves in the next election, vote for those candidates who act like they know what the constitution exists and it means something to them. I do not care what party as long as the individual knows the bill of rights exists and acts accordingly.
I am tired of reading about the hypocritical actions of a few politicians, (one of which is our President) who believe the law is beneath them. We are all citizens of the same nation and the laws apply to us all equally.
