Again I am faced with the conundrum of the non radical elements of this religion being silent, which leads me to believe there are really no non radical elements or I should say that the radical are really the norm. After all if someone ran into a newspaper yelling in the name of Christ and started shooting I am pretty sure the Vatican would make some kind of statement and I am also pretty sure they would condemn the act. Just a guess though.
Another thing I cannot understand is why so many Americans have chosen to defend the actions of these followers of Islam? This nation is 93% Christian according to recent polls and if I remember correctly there is a though shall not commit murder rule in the Christian rule book so how is it so many can find time to defend these acts of violence? Whether they are followers of Islam or not (and the evidence points to they are) should never be the point, the fact that men exercising their God given right of free speech were killed by them due to a lack of understanding is. Oh and by God I mean their God too. In this country the followers of Islam are very quick to point out they have the right to worship how they choose, which they are correct to believe, but this also implies they agree that God (theirs too) has given all men certain unalienable rights, rights that these followers of Islam seem to think they have a right to take away from others arbitrarily, which is the real flaw in the thinking of Islam.
My own personal belief is this: Islam is a religion of violence and abuse, a religion of the strong abusing the weak and timid. They the followers of Islam prove this point to me every day as they kill children and women and blame women for being raped. It seems to me that this religion of peace rarely takes responsibility for its actions and throws the name of God around pretty loosely. I believe that those men who have taken the lives of those Magazine employees are Islamic and I believe the followers of Islam will believe those people deserved their fate, those people did not and Islam to survive must start living by the rules of the nations they live in to survive. I am not sure anymore if there is a moderate Islam because if there was why is there no outrage from the followers of Islam in France or the USA? I believe there is no outrage because killing has become the voice of Islam throughout the world and we call radical is the norm for a Muslim. I may be profiling a bit here but alas as I speak a Muslim somewhere just killed someone in the name of their religion simply because they could, how badly do you want that in your neighborhood?
