Interestingly enough one does not see any specific race mentioned in this definition so if a White person feels superior to any or all other races they are a racist but in transverse if a Black person feels superior to any or all other races they too are racist. Interestingly enough this makes every time a black person attacks another person of a different race out of racial anger a race crime in and of itself. We must remember Martin Luther King’s Dream was not for any race to be superior but for all people to be color blind when it came to skin color and judge each other by their character. If one were judging the rioters and cop killers of this nation how would they compare?
I as a human being understand anger and I have seen enough injustice for my life time but striking out in hatred and causing injustice in another direction does not solve the problem it fans the flames. Most police Officers are trying to help, help in a situation they are undermanned and outgunned in and yet they show up to work each day, knowing there are those out there in the world who would kill them just because of their job.
Each individual citizen of this nation should understand some basic facts; we are a free nation, which simply means we as citizens have a right to our own opinions, no matter if others agree or not as long as that opinion does not interfere with the rights of other people. One can harbor whatever emotion you choose but if you choose hate then it is best to keep it to yourself or voice it without action, as when acted upon almost always interferes with others rights. We in this nation have a right to defend ourselves, but inherent in defense means you are taking the second action, one must attack you first and that attack must be a physical one not verbal. We have the right to follow whatever religion we choose and to speak about that religion, pray when and where we choose to include our schools as long as that action hurts no one else.
We are a nation of citizens with unalienable rights, each and everyone one of us, no matter the color of your skin, political belief, educational level, sexual preference or whether you are male or female, religion does not change this, and financial standing does not change this, we are a nation of laws, that must be followed by all citizens. Now I agree we may have too many laws and regulations but that is a debate for our law makers not for crowds citing insurrection. We are a nation of great diversity and can offer so much to each other and yet we choose to divide ourselves and then to open our borders and fuel the racial divide, it is true that anyone should have the ability to become a member of this great nation but that should be through a protected process in which we as citizens already feel safe and know who we are allowing into this nation. Opening the border is not a question of race but one of safety for those of all races already here.
On the sixth day of Christmas I give to you the race lie, that is to say when anyone in this nation acts against another, even a white person based on race they are a racist, even if you are black or Hispanic, it is time we become color blind and act accordingly, help each other and build a better nation not destroy the current one out of anger.
