Mr. Boehner serves his own best interest and showed his cards the day he supported the CR Omnibus bill and funded Obamacare and basically everything else Obama wanted. Obama is a Progressive and what he wants is the exact opposite of what any conservative should want, therefore Boehner is also not a conservative by practice, yet he supposedly represents conservatives all over the country. Is anyone now still hazy on why our government is 17 trillion dollars in debt and rapidly turning into a bastion of socialist ideals?
Glen Beck is calling for defunding the GOP and having people start giving their political donations to organizations such as Freedom works which support conservative candidates, an idea I do agree with but I also wonder at this point if it is not far enough. This current vote for Speaker of the House has proven one thing, the GOP is no longer the party of Conservatives and most of the Establishment GOP are Progressives now and not conservative in nature. So my thought process once again takes me to the third party option, the Tea Party breaking off into a third party but one of conservative values.
Tea Party Candidates or as I like to call them the honest republicans should no longer have to struggle with a party that has become the Democratic party light for funding and support, it is time for those candidates to declare they will not be part of the progressive GOP and it is time for the conservative American majority to have a party that really represents them in Washington D.C.
In short I agree with Mr. Beck on defunding the GOP but I also believe we need to fund the Tea Party as a separate entity so that Conservatives have real representation in this government. I also believe this action will force those progressives in the GOP to seek support from the party that really supports them, the Democrats or Socialists, call them what you will both fit. The Speaker of the House vote that has taken place on 1/5/2015 should be a wakeup call for conservatives in this country, your party no longer espouses conservative values and is now a supporter of liberal and socialist views, the Politicians that are supporting the Establishment GOP are no longer conservative either and 82.5 million Americans are no longer represented by the GOP. The real question now is how the American people will respond. I for one will never support a candidate that holds views that do not coincide with my own so I now may have to wave goodbye to the GOP.
