Last Sunday I posed several questions about the world and liberal thinking such as is there any reason for ISIS to destroy their past? I have not read anything to suggest they have offered a reason for their actions but I can surmise one, that past they use to justify their actions is also the very thing that drives their hatred, and not unlike children they just do not know how to react. Maybe it is time for the parents to step in and offer guidance. My version of that is a parental push via a b-52 bomber but there are other solutions, I understand. Now on the issue of the hypocritical Clinton firing of an ambassador for using private email, again I have seen no real answer to this other than Hillary doing her best to avoid the issue. All this should mean to the public is to remember at voting time that she is capable of such action and ask yourself do you want someone like that in charge, I know I do not. How about Ben Carson and the homosexual answer heard around the world, I know he was speaking the truth as he knows it and I actually respect him for doing that but one does have to ask themselves is this man really sound on the current issues? The American flag issue in California was settled and the rule was changed back to fly the flag, now I wonder what is being done about the students ability to show poor judgment? There was the question of Common Core and it is one that will be around for awhile as Jeb Bush fights for it and almost everyone else stands opposed. Is it a standard, I dare say it is more than that and Detroit proved it when they started expelling children for the actions of their parents didn’t they? Planet Fitness has dug its heels in on the issue of gender discrimination, I do wonder if they have looked up the difference between gender and sexual preference, probably not. Now finally the death penalty as opposed to abortion without a crime being committed. In the end we must ask ourselves about our own hypocrisy and how we justify our own actions, Abortion results in the death of a child, no matter when or how you do the procedure and so many would say this is OK, the death penalty results in the death of a criminal whose fate was decided by 12 jurors and a state that decided the maximum penalty and yet so many stand against this. The argument is that an innocent person could lose their life, with abortion are not all the lives lost innocent?
On Monday the discussion moved to the understanding that morally President Obama is wrong to make any deal with Iran, I say this not our of a prejudice but simply following a simple rule, does Iran act within the boundary of reason as we (the USA) understand it and can morally side with? The answer is simply no it does not. Glen beck read a letter on his show this week from a political prisoner in Iran, to understand this argument one must seek out that letter or others like it and than decide, but for me Iran is not an honest broker and cannot be trusted and certainly cannot be trusted with weapons of mass destruction.
Tuesday was the day of the 47 Senators who stood their ground against Obama and reminded the world and us as citizens that our President is not omnipotent. Our President can make all the deals he would like but they do need to be ratified by the Senate, this is their constitutional duty and it is about time someone reminded Obama of that.
Wednesday was the day that saw john Kerry put his foot in his mouth again, or as I like to say swift boated again Mr. Kerry. He spoke of the 47 Senators letter to Iran like this had never been done, well that might work if we the people never read a history book or none of us were over the age of thirty but alas this is not true sir. It most certainly has been done before by your party. Also turning into an honorary Clinton will not help you in the end by throwing the idea of legally binding out on the floor if the President signs it and it is not challenged by the Senate it is a legal document, of course you already knew that.
Thursday was the beginning of a set of articles on current GOP Presidential candidates and announcing my current choices for all to see on Friday I started looking at specific candidates and their records and I will continue this series so we can all understand what we are voting for. I am drawing up a new section of the website to follow the candidates and keep them updated so if you have any ideas please feel free to send them out I would love to hear them.
Well that concludes Worldview By Dawson weekly roundup, I wish all of you the very best, God Speed and God Bless.
