st commandment “We believe that Wall Street needs stronger rules and tougher enforcement, and we're willing to fight for it." This can be summed up in a simpler phrase, regulation and more regulation until the government has a strangle hold on everything.
nd Commandment “We believe in science, and that means that we have a responsibility to protect this Earth." Science you say unless of course it disproves your social theories and then you will stand in the corner yelling liar, liar.
rd Commandment "We believe that the Internet shouldn't be rigged to benefit big corporations, and that means real net neutrality." Which ultimately means as long as everyone is paying the government for its use then we believe in it.
th Commandment "We believe that no one should work full-time and still live in poverty, and that means raising the minimum wage." So we will change everything and have everyone work part time two jobs and still live in poverty.
th Commandment "We believe that fast-food workers deserve a livable wage, and that means that when they take to the picket line, we are proud to fight alongside them." Which translated into English means we would love to get you fired so you can live on government assistance and vote for us Progressives because we give you free stuff.
th Commandment "We believe that students are entitled to get an education without being crushed by debt." Now I think we all agree with this idea except in the end progressives think we should all live in crushing debt and owe our existence to them.
th Commandment "We believe that after a lifetime of work, people are entitled to retire with dignity, and that means protecting Social Security, Medicare, and pensions.” Who doesn’t believe in this? Yet again with progressives it ends with everyone in poverty and very little dignity. Also I would like to mention the idea that permeates most of these commandments; they believe you are incapable of taking care of your self. There is no personal responsibility in any of them. Which leads to cities like Detroit and currently Chicago which is on the same destructive path at the moment?
th Commandment "We believe—I can't believe I have to say this in 2014—we believe in equal pay for equal work." really do you? The most Progressive President ever is in the White House right now and women get paid 20% less then men in his administration. I cannot believe you had the gall to add this to your list.
th Commandment "We believe that equal means equal, and that's true in marriage, it's true in the workplace, it's true in all of America." This leads us back to the last commandment, you believe in equal as an idea that will get people to vote for you but in practice you are not equal in any way. How about changing the election funding laws to give all sides the same amount of money, I know wont happen because you believe as Orwell pointed out some are more equal then others.
th Commandment “We believe that immigration has made this country strong and vibrant, and that means reform.” reform you say like allowing 5 to 6 million people into the country that will vote for all the free stuff you will give them. How about this, allow them into the country but count each vote for an opposing party. Still feel the same about Immigration, I doubt it.
th Commandment “And we believe that corporations are not people, that women have a right to their bodies. We will overturn Hobby Lobby and we will fight for it. We will fight for it!” This Hobby Lobby idea has nothing to do with woman having a right to their bodies, it is about who is going to pay for all the free things you want to give them.
In the end most of these commandments simply mean as a Progressive we do not believe that the American people have the right to make any decisions for themselves and to alleviate suffering we as a government will provide for you as long as you live the way we choose. Which by the way is against every fiber of the Constitution and the idea of freedom and liberty. Now having said that remember you have a choice at the moment, make your decisions and do the best you can or become a slave and let the government make those decisions for you. If you choose the latter remember the conditions never seem to get better and the jobs progressively worse.
