OK now I will define my reasoning just a little better, Russia is moving troops to borders and running operations with bombers carrying nuclear weapons to test other nation’s border security. Greece has recently chosen to align with Russia, so they do not have to pay back their debt to the European Union. The European Union is really NATO and they are trying to deal with Russia and ISIS as both Europe and the Middle East seem to be coming undone. Isis has chosen to be its own team taking on the refugees of other teams that feel disenfranchised and for the first time Saudi Arabia and Israel are aligned against both Iran and ISIS. China has its own thing going on in the East as many Asian countries seem to be siding against or with China to include a banking deal that includes Australia. Let us not forget Africa which seems to be setting itself up on a Christian/Muslim axis. Which in reality seem to be the way things worldwide are drifting with some exceptions like areas of Europe who seem to be more worried about annexation from the larger Christian coalitions.
What is missing you sit and wonder, well if one knows the political history of World War Two it is obvious, the USA is still on the fence, like it was in 1939? Like earlier in the century this nation has not made a decision on what to do, mostly from sloppy leadership and a sense that we owe the rest of the world an apology (No I am not sure why either). Yet here we stand watching a four ring evil circus begin and so far we have done nothing but weaken our position and weaken our ability to participate in what will eventually be defined as the War that changed the world. In other words this nation has learned nothing from 70 years of success and mistakes. Making the USA the most pathetic nation on the planet at the moment, Now remember I say this knowing I love this country but understanding current leadership may have destroyed us before we get an opportunity to fix anything. So here we stand like Neville Chamberlin yelling about freedom amidst a world on fire.
What can we do you ask, well good question;
1. Protect our border, which in turn means protecting our citizens. The outside world is a threat whether we agree or not and leaving ourselves open to attack within our borders complicates the problem.
2. Decide who our allies are and act accordingly, stop dealing with and sending money to countries who ultimately want to destroy us. Every child who has ever played risk understands this idea.
3. Deflate the Federal government to only be responsible for the 18 specific things in the constitution. Pay off our debt and build a modern military with enough members to protect this nation from all enemies.
4. Reduce taxes so the States have resources to handle all of the issues now left to them by the Federal government. A Flat Tax system seems to fit this bill nicely allowing a reasonable sales tax increase so States can rebuild their infrastructure as they see fit. This also includes a deregulation by the Federal government to allow States more control.
5. Start listening to the Military advisors, that is to say if a military operation has a goal, allow the Military to prosecute said mission without interference from political knuckleheads who never understand the difference between Politics and Warfare.
6. Here is where I make some suggestions, Open up Military service for those who have committed minor offenses to offer a separate route instead of Prison. Over haul the legal system to put the serious punishments on serious crimes and allow states to make this a priority. Include trade schools to be part of the education system as an alternative to High School and begin State programs to make education free to those who pursue it and allow trade school or apprenticeships for others who choose that path. Allowing for a structured education, aligned with students needs and accessible so that our future generations have access to jobs and abilities that allow choices other then gangs or drug dealing. Allow for a free market, one without regulation or at least without most regulations so technology and advancement is the norm and not a struggle.
In the coming months as other nations move to whatever sides they believe will be best for them, we will see the lines in this new world conflict being drawn. This nation must make some hard decisions and we may not be able to wait for the next election to make them. As Russia and China see opportunity and ISIS forces others to act we may be caught off guard much like we were in World War Two. In my opinion it is time now to end the reign of King Barrack Obama and replace this administration with one that shows some competency with foreign affairs before there is any more blood on our own streets or around the world. Oh and yes we are a Christian nation and Christians are being killed around the world that should worry us a little more than it seems to.
So as we wait to be chosen for a team, maybe we should build our own team, that reflects our own goals and not wait for the world to decide our fate. Most Americans would agree that they would rather die on their feet fighting for their beliefs then die on their knees at the mercy of those we abhor. Now is the time America to stand up.
